NSPCC Charity Shop Visit

Lesson: Personal, Social and Emotional Education

Class: Dragonflies Year: 2017 - 2018

11th October 2017

Dragonflies Class visited the Charity Shop to learn about reducing, reusing and recycling waste items. We walked to the shop and were met by the lovely manageress. We had some items generously donated by parents to give to the shop. These were things we no longer wanted but they may be useful to someone else.

We handed these items over and then had a good look around the shop to see what was available and also to see if there was anything we could reuse in class. The children found shoes, clothes, books, DVD's and toys were all available and eventually chose a wooden clock puzzle and a DVD to bring back to class. The manageress was delighted with our visit and all the Dragonflies were given a sticker in recognition of their visit.
